In 1984, Jim started his own practice and it quickly grew to include complex residential and commercial projects from Annapolis, Maryland to Santa Barbara, California. Jim places a premium on creativity, attention to detail, quality of work and continuing relationships. This strategy along with an individual approach to each project has paved the way toward a record of repeat and referral business.​ ​​
